This was my first game, a 2D top-down scrolling space shooter for the iOS platform. The objective was to create an action packed space shooter with modern weapons but retain an “old school” retro theme. I joined this project at the prototyping stage and was put in charge of all programming. I extended the game to 10 levels, programmed minibosses and bosses, added weapons, scripted gameplay, coordinated beta testing and added other features.
